"A holistic workout for your body & your mind"

Who is yoga for?

Yoga is for anyone looking to increase muscles strength and tone, increase flexibility, loose weight, improve cardio and circulatory health, improve athletic performance and/or release tension from body and mind.

Yoga will cultivate strength in your muscles, joints and even the bones, while at the same creating more suppleness as you release holding patterns in your connective tissues (fascia). By letting go of physical tension through yoga asanas you will discover a new-found freedom in your movement. Yoga will help you relieve stress and unclutter your mind. It will allow you to regain mental focus and develop inner strength. By teaching you how to move mindfully with your breath, it will help you to become more mindful and present in your day to day life helping you reduce stress and increase vitality.

Yoga is a highly individual practice. At In Motion we encourage each practitioner to meet their body where it is at. As a result, our yoga classes are suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

Our Classes

Ashtanga Flow

Based on the Ashtanga yoga primary series devised and taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, this class offers a dynamic and challenging sequence whereby movement and postures are synchronised with the breath in a set sequence. With an emphasis on mindfulness, this practice will procure an internal heat and purifying sweat while strengthening your muscles and improving your flexibility and balance.

Hatha Flow

Practice classical hatha poses that flow from one to another with some pauses for added instruction and teacher demonstration in a dynamic class where you will have the opportunity to deepen the strength of your practise by holding the poses for longer.
